I’m sitting in Los Angeles Airport, waiting for the 2nd of my three flights home to Florida. It’s a long traveling day, but well worth the 45,000 points I spent for the free first class flight to San Diego, where I attended a life-altering seminar on relationships. (Wow, I just LOVE flying first class, especially when it’s free. Definitely more on that in a later column.)

Now, while the topic of relationships may not directly affect our topic here of saving money, it does affect us indirectly in many ways, one of which is of course our relationship to money. But more important, the workshop was given by an organization called Peak Potentials, which I found because their basic seminar, the Millionaire Mind Intensive, was one of the pivotal points in my life in reference to my relationship to money. The founder, T. Harv Eker, was young and penniless when he developed his education for creating abundance in life, and within three years he was a millionaire. He made it his mission to teach and empower others with what he had learned, and has become a world-renouned expert in the field of wealth-building and how our lives are impacted in this very sensitive area. His NY Times Best Seller book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, has been published in 31 languages and has itself changed millions of lives. (You can buy a copy through Amazon by clicking here:

So while most of my friends, and really most of the world, is watching the stock market on an hourly basis and computing how much they’ve lost, I’m on a high and a road to wealth and abundance in my life. I often refer to Harv’s wisdom and principles in my life, and I expect I’ll be doing so here in my blog, so here’s a start: Last night, he reminded us that the the Rockefellers made most of their money during the Great Depression, as did many many others. There are lots of people who see not gloom but opportunity at this point in the economic cycle, and in most cases, all it takes is a decision to do so.

It would take me three days to tell about everything I learned in the MMI, and I’m certainly not trained to do so, but have I got a deal for you: FREE Tickets to the MMI when it next comes to your area! The seminars are fun, emotional at times, but most of all empowering and life-changing. Here are the dates of a few upcoming ones: Nov 21 – 23, 2008 Chicago, IL (Rosemont) and Nov 21 – 23, 2008 San Francisco, CA, Nov 28 – 30, 2008 Montreal, QC, Nov.28 – 30, 2008 Toronto, ON and Dec 5 – 7, 2008 in Denver, CO. I will post 2009 dates as soon as they are available.  If none of these cities are convenient for you, it’s also available on CD or by teleseminar. Just click here to be taken to the Peak Potentials site and see what it has to offer. It’s one of the best things I have ever done for myself and I am thrilled to be able to pass it along to you. Be sure to enter promotion code AMB1652 and reference code 97669 for your FREE tickets.

Meanwhile, I’ve got a great Spa Day planned for the end of this week, a luxury that you would think is way beyond my means, but I’ve got some tricks — come on back in a few days to hear all about it. Make it a great day!
